Ever experienced this before?
You’re having a really productive day.
Getting lots of work done, ticking off your to-do list.
You head out for your lunch break and then get back to your desk for the afternoon.
You work away for a few hours and you’re typing away at your computer and then, BAM!
3pm hits and all of a sudden you feel like you could curl up under your desk and have a nap.
You feel so tired!
So, what do you do to perk yourself up again?
Reach for something sugary or high in refined carbohydrates or a soft drink…
Which is all good for a short term energy boost.
But what about the inevitable crash that comes after that, not to mention all the extra calories you’ve just consumed?
This scenario used to happen to me all the time.
It wasn’t until I sorted a few key aspects of my lifestyle that I managed to have consistent amounts of energy all throughout my day.
