In today’s busy world, there’s always something to distract us from what we’re doing.
A ringing phone, Facebook notifications, emails, the latest tv show, just to name a few.
We often think of distraction as being a bad thing when we are driving a car or meeting a deadline at work.
But what about when we eat?
Have you ever sat down in front of the tv and before you know it, you’ve eaten the whole meal in your lap? You weren’t paying attention to what you were doing and all of a sudden your food has gone?
I know I have.
Eating while you’re doing something else means that you’re not truly in touch with how your body is responding to the food going in your mouth.
So, what sort of impact can that have?
You might be surprised to know.
I cover this and more in this week’s Transformation Tip – all about mindful eating.
